Website use

These terms apply to this website and the Larry McNair for Governor text-message program. Use the website lawfully, submit only information you are authorized to provide, and do not interfere with website security or other visitors’ access. Website use does not enroll you in text messaging.

Text-message program

Larry McNair for Governor offers separate opt-ins for recurring campaign updates, including event reminders and volunteer opportunities, and recurring fundraising messages. Messages may be sent using automated technology to the mobile number you provide. You may choose either, both, or neither option.

Consent is not a condition of donation, purchase, volunteering, coalition membership, or submitting an inquiry. Providing a phone number alone is not consent. Opt in only for a number you own or are authorized to use; let us know if your number changes.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies by campaign activity and the preferences you select. Message and data rates may apply under your wireless plan. Contact your wireless provider for questions about charges. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery is not guaranteed.

Opting out

Once the messaging program is active, reply STOP to any campaign text to unsubscribe. You may receive a single confirmation of your opt-out; no further program messages will be sent unless you opt in again. You can also request removal through our campaign contact form. Opting out of texts does not prevent you from volunteering, joining a coalition, or donating.

Reply HELP to a campaign text for assistance once messaging is active, or contact Larry McNair for Governor through our contact form. Signing up on the website records your preferences; it does not guarantee immediate message delivery.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Mobile numbers and text-message opt-in information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Donations and external services

Donations are processed on WinRed, subject to WinRed’s terms and applicable campaign contribution rules. Contributions to Larry McNair for Governor are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Corporate contributions are subject to limits under Mississippi law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms or change or discontinue the messaging program. Updated terms will be posted here with an effective date. Material changes to the scope of text-message consent will require a new opt-in where required. For questions, use the campaign contact form.
